DRUG TESTING
Cynthia's Cleaning Services may require job applicants to undergo drug testing. If you are being considered for employment, you may be contacted regarding the time and location of the pre-employment drug screening. Refusal to take the drug test, or a positive test result, may disqualify you from further consideration for employment.
RELEASE OF INFORMATION AND UNDERSTANDING
I certify that the information provided in this application and in any supporting documents or interviews is true and complete. I understand that Cynthia's Cleaning Services may investigate my personal and employment history, and I authorize the company to verify all data provided. This investigation may include, but is not limited to, information about my character, general reputation, and personal characteristics. I authorize all individuals, schools, and previous employers to release any relevant information to Cynthia's Cleaning Services and release them from any liability in doing so.
I understand that any false, misleading, or incomplete information provided by me at any point during the hiring process or during employment may result in the termination of my employment. I also authorize the investigation of my personal credit history, criminal background, and driving record as applicable to the duties of the position.
If my employment is terminated, I authorize Cynthia's Cleaning Services to use and disclose any information in its possession regarding my employment for reference purposes, legal requirements, or in response to inquiries from prospective employers. I release the company from any liability related to such disclosures.
AT-WILL EMPLOYMENT UNDERSTANDING
In consideration of employment, I agree to comply with all company policies, procedures, and the direction of supervisors. I understand that employment at Cynthia's Cleaning Services is "at-will" and may be terminated by either the company or myself at any time, with or without cause or notice, unless otherwise governed by a collective bargaining agreement or a written contract signed by the President/Owner of the company.
No manager, supervisor, or representative of Cynthia's Cleaning Services, other than the President/Owner, has the authority to enter into any agreement for employment for a specified period of time or to make any agreements contrary to the at-will nature of employment. Any such agreement must be in writing and signed by both parties to be effective.
I further understand that my employment is conditional upon the results of any required pre-employment drug testing. I acknowledge that I may also be required to undergo medical or physical examinations, at the company’s discretion and expense, as a condition of hire or during the course of employment.
